Seven Undergraduate Students from FH UNY Participate in Student Mobility Program at UiTM Malaysia

Shah Alam, Malaysia | June 30 – July 1, 2026 – The Faculty of Law, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FH UNY), successfully conducted a Student Mobility Program at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, from June 30 to July 1, 2026. The program aimed to enhance international academic collaboration while broadening students’ global perspectives through cross-cultural and educational experiences.

The program involved seven undergraduate students from the Faculty of Law, UNY, namely: Muhammad Dhaffa Redin; M. Lifyan Hhamam Al Hadi; Lintang Sakti Chafie Ananda; Ida Bagus Pradnyana Adidhiksa; Shafwan Ahmad As Sakhiyy; Gus Rizal Kurniawan; and Muhammad Fairuzul Wafi Faradis.

During the two-day program, the students participated in a series of academic and institutional activities organized by the Faculty of Law, UiTM. The activities included academic discussions, classroom observations, campus tours, and interactive sessions with UiTM students and lecturers. These activities provided valuable opportunities for participants to exchange ideas on legal education, compare legal systems, and gain insights into the academic environment in Malaysia.

The Student Mobility Program served as a platform to promote intercultural understanding and foster international networks among students from Indonesia and Malaysia. Through direct interaction with the UiTM academic community, participants enhanced their communication skills, broadened their legal perspectives, and developed a deeper appreciation for regional cooperation in legal education.

This program reflects the Faculty of Law UNY’s commitment to supporting the internationalization of higher education and preparing students to become globally competent legal professionals. By participating in international mobility programs, students are expected to strengthen their academic capabilities, cross-cultural competencies, and readiness to contribute to an increasingly interconnected global society.
